CNC Machining is a process that takes stock materials (such as steel) and removes unwanted materials from the stock with Computer Numberical Control(CNC) devices that cut away excess material.
CNC Machining is used in a variety of industries and with a variety of materials. Quicker than rapid prototyping, and extremely precise, CNC Machining processes can create custom designed parts to fit almost any application. Since CNC Machining is performed directly from your 3D CAD Models, you can be 100% sure that your machined parts will be created EXACTLY to your specifications.
All CNC machined parts start out as models in a computer program called CAD (Computer Aided Design). A CAD Drawing lays out your desired part in a 3D Model environment with exact measurements on every surface. This ensure the CNC Machine knows where to cut.
